Who this applies to
These terms apply to all members, stewards, and administrators who use the RiseUP D·D·S member portal operated by AFGE Local 509 (Disability Determination Services). Access is limited to active chapter members and authorized staff.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the portal to:
- Track and manage your own grievances and cases
- Communicate with chapter stewards and administrators
- Access member resources and chapter information
You may not share your credentials, access another member's information without authorization, or use the portal to harass or harm other members.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact your chapter administrator immediately. We recommend registering a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello) for the strongest protection.
Content you submit
Case details, grievance records, and other information you submit remain your property. By submitting content, you grant the chapter the right to use it to process your case and maintain union records. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
Service availability
We aim to keep the portal available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance with or without advance notice. Critical updates will be communicated via the portal or email.
Termination
Access may be suspended or revoked if you violate these terms or your union membership ends. Active grievances will be transferred to your steward before account closure.
